I
was going through my files recently and seddenly stumbled upon a letter of
appreciation sent to me by this legal colossus and defender of the masses, Chief
Gani Fawehinmi. It was in appreciation of an article I wrote on him titled “
Dissidents are not enemies” when he was locked up at Gashua prison by Gen
Ibrahim Babangida led Federal military government in 1989.
